Do whatever God shows you to do today.
“Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be My people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you” (Jeremiah 7:23 KJV).
In other words, “keep in step with the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25 NIV).
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it” (Isaiah 30:21 NIV).
Prayerfully watch yourselves with the expectation of those who will escape. “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36 NIV).
Even when your outward senses do not see deliverance, trust the LORD to deliver, “for no other god can save in this way” (Daniel 3:29 NIV).
“We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You” (2Chronicles 20:12 NIV).
Regardless of our deliverance, Yahweh’s honor and reputation are more important than ourselves.
“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and He will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if He does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up” (Daniel 3:17-18 NIV).
May the Father be honored in the Son by our watchful preparedness for the Bridegroom.
“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 25:13 KJV).
