When we lie, we own the devil as our father and practice the same evil desires as Lucifer, when he coveted God’s glory. Lucifer murdered the Almighty in his heart, when he refused the truth that all glory belongs to the Most High. Denying the truth of our Creator’s worthiness of all glory is the foundation of all lies. “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44 KJV). If simply not declaring all the facts about a circumstance is lying, then would a photograph where a house appears larger than it is, be lying? Intention is obviously the point. Do we see God as unworthy of His glory? Then we murder God in our heart. LORD, may we exalt You in our heart as worthy of the glory due You. May we not be those, who say, I know You, and keep not Your commandments, and be accounted a “liar, and the truth is not in [us]” (1John 2:4). Bless Yourself. Return quickly. In Jesus’ name, amen.
The Way, The Truth, The Life
Choose Life
Choose life — because ‘God is your life.’ Not simply an anti-abortion slogan or suicide prevention strategy, ‘God is your life’ is the essence of existence. If ‘God is your life’ is only a metaphor, then He is not your reason for existing, and all of this is nonsense. We complicate life’s decisions, when we remove God from the discussion. Without the focus upon God, humanity must substitute vast amounts of studies and resources to suggest an alternative. Life must be unselfish and God-centered. God’s way is life. “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life, and the length of thy days” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20 KJV).
Just Another God
If I told you that Jesus was just another god, you should be rightly offended. If respected scientists, government officials, or even religious leaders announced Jesus was simply a well received alien (as in UFOs, UAPs), you would be justifiably angry. You know what you know. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6 KJV). In the innermost sanctum of our soul, we cling to the truth we live by. “I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day” (2Timothy 1:12 KJV). Amen and amen.
We Need A Miracle
