Hate never feels good directed against yourself. Hatred directed against Jews and Israel is in a category by itself. Islamophobia or indifference to the plight of Gaza feels no different, but for the simple observation that the satan especially hates Israel. “When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called My son out of Egypt” (Hosea 11:1 KJV). This is not secular news analysis, but strictly biblical reasoning. “As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes” (Romans 11:28). Satan’s rage against Yahweh is so great, he hates whatever God loves. And, it’s kind of strange, since modern, secular Israel is not the Israel of King David. It is as if the Almighty is allowing Israel’s circumstances to become so dire, they will have to acknowledge Him, again. But, the Christians will also have to come to terms with their understanding of Daniel’s Seventieth Week (Daniel 9:27). How will Israel and the world receive the one who delivers world peace, but later requires worship as God on penalty of death (Revelation 13:15)? LORD, teach Your children who to trust and deliver them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Seventieth Week of Daniel
Bible Prophecy: Red Heifer Ritual
For priests to come up to the Temple Mount, Old Covenant laws of purification require the sacrifice of a “red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish” (Numbers 19:2 KJV), whose ashes were stored, then mixed later “for use in the water of cleansing” (19:9 NIV). “According to rabbinical tradition, there have been nine red heifers [female cows] sacrificed since Moses’ time. Since the destruction of the second temple, no red heifers have been slaughtered. The rabbi Maimonides (1135—1204) taught that the tenth red heifer would be sacrificed by the Messiah Himself (Parah Adumah, ch. 3, § 4). The Temple Institute, a group advocating the construction of a third temple, reports that five flawless red heifers from Texas arrived in Israel on September 15, 2022. Many people view this event as a fulfilment of prophecy, since the acquisition of a red heifer is a major step forward in plans for a new temple.” This occurred a year prior to the current Israeli Gaza Conflict. Some report Hamas noticed the arrival of those five “red cows” to Israel, understanding the desire of non-secular Jews to cleanse and rebuild on Temple Mount. Scripture prophesies the rebuilding of a Jerusalem Temple, which will be desecrated by the Antichrist during the Seventieth Week of Daniel. Antichrist “shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate” (Daniel 9:27 KJV). This will require virtually supernatural intervention on the part of Antichrist. How will Islam ever allow the Jews to sacrifice on Temple Mount? Good question. Women’s Role in the Church – Part 1
Women Teaching Men: 1Timothy 2:11-15
In the context of the public assembly of the church, Paul gave the direction, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet” (1Timothy 2:12 NIV), he had just prefaced his remark a verse earlier. “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission” (2:11 NIV).
