Behold A White Horse (Revelation 6:2)

The first seal judgment of the Book of Revelation opens at the beginning of Daniel’s Seventieth Week. “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer” (Revelation 6:2 KJV). This first of the four horseman of the Apocalypse most likely represents Antichrist with veiled military power (“a bow”) diplomatically consolidating power worldwide. What has just disrupted the world? Was it a Pre-Tribulational Rapture of the Church? Could it be the revelation of the first horseman as a supernatural alien/Nephilim (UFO alien)? LORD, You are our teacher of things to come. Give us understanding that we may hasten Your return. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Opinion: UFOs Are Not Extraterrestrial

If UFOs are demonic lying wonders, then SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) is misdirected. “Even him [Antichrist], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (2Thessalonians 2:9 KJV). What is commonly labeled as ET (extraterrestrial) has been addressed throughout the ages as “lying wonders” or demonic. Demons are disembodied spirits resulting from the Nephilim killed in the Flood, where the Nephilim are the product of Fallen Angels, who cohabitated with human females (Genesis 6:2,4). Science fiction movie script? No, Hollywood is only repeating the discussion that has been around for millennia. This perspective may actually be the key to explaining the conundrum of how a charismatic world leader [Antichrist] can usher in a period of World Peace, especially for Israel, which has defied Arab, Christian, and Jew. “And he [Antichrist] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate” (Daniel 9:27). Lord Jesus, come quickly. Amen.

Who Doesn’t Root for the Underdog?

Later today, Brock Purdy #13 quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers will take the field in Super Bowl LVIII against defending Super Bowl champ, Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes #15, who has won two Super Bowls. Most everyone knows about Kansas City Chief’s tight end Travis Kelce #87’s dating relationship with Taylor Swift, the world renowned pop singer. But, 49ers Brock Purdy is an underdog, who has flown under the radar as a player overlooked in high school, given a chance at Iowa State University, the last player drafted by the 49ers, one of the 49ers’ lowest paid players this season at $934,252, and still drives a Toyota Sequoia. As one of the pass completion leaders in the NFL (2023), Purdy took the place of injured starting quarterbacks, demonstrated calmness under stress on the field, has been praised for humility by fellow players, and is a professing Christian. David was an underdog, a young man, who as a shepherd killed a bear and a lion protecting his father’s sheep (1Samuel 17:36). When the giant, Goliath of Gath (a Nephilim) defied Israel, David volunteered to kill him. “David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee” (17:37 KJV). David won. We, too, may be underdogs. But, may our desire for God to be magnified in the earth cause us to dream, work, and pray for His Kingdom to come, and His Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen.

Did God Need to Become Flesh?

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Genesis 3:15 KJV). The Seed War was declared by Yahweh between Himself and the Serpent. He would supernaturally place His seed in Mary to give us Jesus, while the Serpent has long sought to do the same giving us the Nephilim. “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God [fallen angels] came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown” (Genesis 6:4 ESV). God would give us His Christ, while the Serpent will give us his substitute Christ, the Antichrist (a Nephilim).

David Beats Goliath

David beating Goliath has become an expression for an underdog beating a much stronger opponent. How did David beat the Nephilim Goliath? He won because the LORD fought his battle. “And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and He will give you [Goliath] into our hands” (1Samuel 17:47 KJV).

Daze of Deception

UFOs are lying wonders. Recently, I ran across this series of YouTube videos (3 hours), “Daze of Deception: Part 1,” “Daze of Deception: Part 2,” and “Daze of Deception: Part 3” from Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel (Chino Hills, CA). We must be getting pretty far along into the Last Days for us to be discussing this stuff out loud in Bible preaching churches. My wife and I used to identify the phenomenon of UFOs as “lying wonders” (2Thesssalonians 2:9 KJV). In context, the “lawless one” (2:9 NIV) refers to the Antichrist, which Jack Hibbs identifies as Nephilim. This is Twilight Zone stuff that respectable evangelical pastors know better than to discuss from their pulpits. I wonder how many have much of an idea how to biblically discuss UFOs and UAPs? Without knowing about Jack Hibbs, I commented on this in earlier posts. (1), (2), (3), and (4).

If NASA really makes an announcement about UAPs before the end of 2023, I wonder how they’ll get around an admission of ET being from another dimension, undefined by our current understanding of the laws of physics? “NASA has not found any credible evidence of extraterrestrial life and there is no evidence that UAPs are extraterrestrial.” Even the Roman Pontiff would be willing to baptize aliens, if they felt they needed it. If Jesus was just another alien, then there is nothing special about the Bible, and it would be unnecessary “to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people” (Jude 1:3 NIV). All the wildfires, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, wars (Ukraine), and rumors of wars (China, North Korea) are falling into place with Matthew 24. “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:28 NIV).

The Bible is our only credible explanation of what is going on. This will shake out the wheat from the chaff. “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8 NIV).

Maranatha!

Walking With God

Man has a history of walking with God. Adam and Eve “heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day” (Genesis 3:8 KJV). The Voice was the Pre-Incarnate Christ, the Son of God, the Eternal Logos who was made flesh, walking in the garden with our parents. God seems to enjoy walking with man, too, for Enoch “walked with God” (5:22), until he apparently walked Home, “for God took him” (5:24). Some describe the Rapture as an Enoch Walk. Noah “walked with God” (6:9) and was chosen to rescue the world from the plague of the Nephilim. Abraham walked with the LORD, whom he trusted. “Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness” (Romans 4:3 KJV). Moses walked with I AM and gave us understanding of how to live, “for the law was given by Moses” (John 1:17 KJV). The apostles walked with the Lord Jesus Christ. “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ” (1John 1:1-3 KJV). May we be counted among those who walk with God!

Women’s Role in the Church – Part 5

Head Coverings – 1Corinthians 11:1-16

Introduction

I wrote this to exercise my own thinking on 1Corinthians 11:1-16, and you have my admiration, if you attempt to read this.

Regardless of the position one takes on Gender Roles and the Women’s Role in the Church, 1Corinthians 11:1-16 is a difficult passage to understand or agree upon. Charitably, we should respect the position of anyone attempting to explain the passage, who loves the Church of Jesus Christ, and desires to explain and interpret the passage, with the desired goal “that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2Timothy 3:17 NIV).
