“Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them” (Psalm 139:16 KJV). God has our individual destiny and purpose recorded in a book in Heaven. He works to fulfill our destiny, while the enemy passionately works against us. Good news. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1John 4:4). LORD, may Your Word and Your Spirit make plain our purpose. And, may the wicked one be defeated in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen and amen.

You’re In Better Hands Than You Should Be
“Relax, you’re in better hands than you should be,” quipped Monroe Kelly (Ernie Hudson) to Peter Elliot (Dylan Walsh) in the sci-fi/action/adventure film based on the Michael Crichton’s book of the same name, “Congo” (1995). The concept is Someone who is well capable of intervening in our circumstances to accomplish His purposes, when they happen to coincide with our purpose, regardless of difficulty, cost, sociopolitical circumstances, etc. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28 KJV). Praise be to the Only Being Who Commands All Things for Our Good!
