When Everything Fails

“Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy” (Psalm 64:1 KJV). David speaks for all the godly but especially for Israel in the future time of Jacob’s Trouble in Daniel’s Seventieth Week (Daniel 9:24). It is then, when everything familiar seems out of place and our desperate attempt to resolve the situation is failure. Pray and trust God to do as He always has done — deliver His people. “But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded” (64:7). He is the Immutable and Unchanging God Worthy of Our Trust. “The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory” (64:10). Hallelujah!

Resisting the Devil

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7 KJV). Anyone submitted to God can make Satan flee from them by simply and firmly resisting his temptation to do wrong or not do right. He will flee because he knows he cannot defeat the LORD God Almighty to whom you are humbly submitted under the shadow of His wings. Never resist the Devil alone, in your own name, for we are as nothing against this supernatural godlike enemy, but through our God, we shall do valiantly! Amen.

Enemy Shall Come In Like A Flood

“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19 KJV). This is a promise of the LORD’s clear, unrelenting, and overpowering response to any action of the enemy, which is presently or about to inundate us; but, on the sole condition, we cry out to Yahweh with absolute certainty that He alone can and will prevent or neutralize the opposition to our advantage.
