It works for me. A truthful witness can only speak for himself. As much as we desire the truth to work for others, it is useless unless it first works for ourselves. Pretend like the only one in the room is God and you. Whatever good there is in the truth, it needs to work for you. Ask not, if it works for others. Only ask, if it works for you. If this is done, all is well done. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32 KJV).
