Hiroshima, as the target of the first atomic bomb, received sixty seconds of radiation from less than a gram of matter, producing the horrific effects known today. Yet, Hiroshima is now a thriving metropolis, unlike Chernobyl. Jesus prophesied, “Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:22 KJV).
