Dechurched Christianity is a victim of a perfect storm. Meaninglessness of life, religious abuse and moral corruption, workism trumping religious community, gradual loss of the willingness to believe, emotional engagement being found just as easily somewhere else. Dechurched Christianity practically demonstrates the Organized Church no longer represents Christ. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20 KJV).
